This program is designed for children between the ages of 6 months and approximately 3 years of age and their parents*

The purpose of this program is to enable infants and toddlers to become comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills through fun and confidence building experiences while accompanied by their parents.

Skills and activities will include such areas as initial introduction to the aquatic experience, blowing bubbles, exploring body positions in the water on front and back, and other fundamental safety and aquatic skills.

At the same time, parents will learn about water safety, drowning prevention and the importance of supervision.

*We define parents broadly to include all adults with the primary responsibility for raising children, including biological parents, adoptive parents, guardians, stepparents, grandparents or any other type of parenting relationship.

NOTE TO PARENTS:  Classes are specifically designed to teach your child water adjustment and safety skills.  These classes are in no way designed to replace parental supervision in and around water.
